2022
2022 was a significant turning point for me. Despite my background in landscape design, I could clearly feel that the expressive language within landscape design was no longer sufficient to help me convey my own emotions and perspectives about the developments of society. I found myself primarily catering to the needs of clients. This artistic expression held little personal meaning for me.

I started exploring and trying out different types of illustrations and practiced various forms, such as editorial illustrations, single-page illustrations, and double-page illustrations, among others.
2023
Like many others, I have always drawn things that I remember. I prefer using various drawing materials and creating in a sketchbook with a size of 5.5×5.8 inches to document the people I encounter and events in my life. For example, scenes from the Boston subway, parks, and the landscape under Austin's bat bridge, among others.
